3D Sculpting for Everyone.

With a cutting-edge virtual clay sculpting engine, Sculptura 2 unleashes your creativity without constraints. No worrying about technical details. We've got it covered. Just sculpt.

Sculpting essentials and more.

Sculptura 2 was built for creatives like you who want to sculpt anywhere, with just your iPad and Apple Pencil.

Powerful and Customizable Sculpting Tools

Use artist-curated tool presets. Or go deep and create your own with the Tool Factory.

Advanced Volume Engine

Unlike other apps which are built around traditional polygon meshes, Sculptura uses volumes.

Path-Traced Rendering

Interactive path-tracing adds another level of realism to your model.

Crafted exclusively for iPad.

Sculpting and rendering are fully GPU-accelerated using Metal.

  • Realistic materials

Physically-based rendering with image-based lighting renders your model in real-world lighting environments.

  • Export to Procreate

Sculptura automatically generates UV maps so you can export and paint on the model in Procreate.

  • Independent layers

Arrange your model using separate layers which can have different volume resolution.

  • Vector painting

Paint your model with different materials using vector strokes.

  • Fluid intuitive UI

Designed specifically for iPad and Apple Pencil.

  • High-performance rendering

With ray-marched rendering, Sculptura can render higher resolution models than mesh-based apps.

Frequently asked questions

If you have anything else you want to ask, reach out.

    • What iPad do I need to run Sculptura?

We recommend an iPad with an M1 chip or later.

    • Does my device support path-tracing?

An M1 or later is required for the path-tracing renderer.

    • Is this just ZBrush?

Nope. ZBrush is based on triangle meshes. Sculptura is volumes.

    • What's the difference between Volumes and Voxels?

The terms can be used interchangeably. We use the term Volume to distinguish between Sculptura's volumes, which are signed distance fields (SDFs), and cubic minecraft-style voxels.

    • What's so great about Volumes?

Smaller files, can't have a bad triangulation (there is none!), faster booleans, no worrying about topology.

    • Can I try Sculptura before purchasing?

Sculptura is a one-time purchase instead of a subscription. If you aren't satisfied with Sculptura, you can get a refund from Apple.

    • Will you do an Android version?

We have no plans for an Android verion currently, but who knows what the future holds!

    • Can I do all this in Blender?

Blender has some Sculpting tools but it's all mesh-based. Plus, Blender has a much steeper learning curve than Sculptura.

    • Is there a macOS version?

Not currently, but it's under consideration. The additional GPU power from a high-end Mac is awesome.

    • Who is behind Sculptura?

Me, Taylor Holliday, with help from designers and artists. I've been an indie app developer for over a decade and before that I worked at Pixar for five years.
